The Battlement Reservoirs are a chain of seven lakes located in a pristine high mountain setting, south of Parachute Colorado.
From Rifle, head west on I-70 to Parachute (15 miles) and take exit 75. Turn left and follow County Road 301 across the Colorado River to Battlement Parkway and turn right. Follow the Parkway to Stone Quarry Road (1.5 miles) and turn right to the Battlement Cemetery on your left. Turn left by the cemetery onto County Road 302. Continue east on 302 approximately 6.2 miles to the Battlement Reservoir Trailhead.
