Patches of woods, meadows, and flowing streams are frequented by a variety of wildlife. It’s a natural oasis in the middle of town. Visitors can enjoy views of the magnificent Roan Plateau from the two sitting areas along the trail. The trail also has a connection to the Rifle Cemetery with even more spectacular views of Rifle. The west trailhead is located at the intersection of 9th St. and Munro Ave. On-street parking is available here. The east trailhead is located just west of the intersection of Birch Avenue and Morrow Drive.
