Raynard Ditch Trail

The Raynard Ditch Trail is a 1-mile long soft-surface trail that hugs the edge of Graham Mesa with great views of Rifle and the Roan Plateau.

The south trailhead leaves from the North Pasture neighborhood with two access points off of Anvil View Avenue. The trail quickly enters a natural setting as it skirts below ranchlands with a steep drop-off below it. At its north end the trail dead ends into an unfinished road that is only open to pedestrians and bicycles. Turning right on this road connects you to Graham Mesa Avenue, which many people use to create a loop hike. The first part of the road lacks a sidewalk but it soon picks up as you move south and return to residential neighborhoods.
