Outside our back door are the towering cliffs of the Roan Plateau, the desert scrub of Hubbard Mesa, the high-altitude Flat Tops, trails for every type of rider through sagebrush or aspens, and the Colorado River. In town, we’ve got the best new concert venue in Colorado at the Ute Theater, the revamped Garfield County Fairgrounds, the restaurants, hotel, and shopping options of a regional center, and facilities for small conferences and sports tournaments. Visitors can easily hop on I-70 and make a weekend trip from Denver or Salt Lake City. But once you get to Rifle, you can be off the beaten path in minutes.
