Rifle Roundup BBQ Cook Off + Barks & Brews Beerfest

Saturday, May 18

Come enjoy music and family games while tasting a variety of craft beers and voting for your favorite pulled pork! This Rocky Mountain BBQ Association sanctioned Backyard contest will feature amateur smokers competing for bragging rights and cash prizes in Brisket, Ribs, and Pork as well as a People’s Choice category in pulled pork.

  • This event is family and leashed dog friendly.
  • Barks and Brews is a fundraiser for Journey Home Animal Shelter

Rifle Farmer’s Market

Each Friday from mid June - early September

The Rifle Farmer’s Market takes place at Heinze Park in Downtown Rifle. The market features fresh products from local farms & artisan food vendors, live music, kids area, playground equipment, and more.

Rifle Farmers Market will also be providing an online marketplace for those who want to order local produce and foods for pickup from the market each Friday. Some vendors will sell their items online only, while others will sell online and in-person.

Hilltop Concert Series

Sundays evenings throughout the summer

The Bookcliffs Arts Center presents the Hilltop Concert Series each Sunday throughout the summer from 6pm to 8pm. The free concert takes place at the Bookcliffs Art Center on 16th St and Birch Ave and features some of the best musicians in Western Colorado. It’s a great family friendly event that provides a picturesque backdrop, great music, and ice cream!

Fourth of July Eve Celebration

July 3rd

The Annual July 3rd Celebration begins in the morning with a full day of family activities followed by live music and fireworks in Centennial Park.
